This book describes how a group of people, who had lived and suffered together in the 13th century, came together in the 20th century in a limited area of western England. Independently of each other, these people tuned in, with the piercing precision of spotlights, to the same tragic events in Languedoc between 1242 and 1244. One of the most remarkable aspects of the book is the description of the sketches made by a seven-year-old child. It is clear that she also remembers the same tragic years. From this circle of people living in the twentieth century, the author discovered the medieval names and roles of seven of the eight people involved. Although he was born with a highly developed critical mind, the author considers the material revealed to him as unique. He wrote this book to give a true account of a staggering experience and to fulfil his obligation to provide evidence, not only of group reincarnation, but also of the indestructibility of the human psyche.
