Michel Méresse, originally from the Paris region, lives in Corbeil-Essonnes. He is passionate about jazz and leads several bands. He is a member of the editorial board of the magazine La Sape, of which he became editor-in-chief in 1996. He is also a member of the editorial committee of the magazine Poésimage. He writes art criticism articles for the magazine "Art et Métiers du livre". He devotes files and interviews to contemporary poets: Pierre Dalle Nogare, Yves Martin, Michel Deguy, Abdellatif Laâbi, Pierre Dhainault, Lionel Ray, Jean-Louis Giovannoni, Mathieu Bénezet, Charles Juliet, Bernard Noël. And also on art: Edouard Pignon, Bengt Lindström, Matta, Dubuffet, Hartung, Goetz, etc. He also produces numerous booklets of poems and limited edition artists' books.
