Ferran Delèris, Pèire e Marià.
- Condition: very good, clean, minimal wear.
1917. Pèire torna en permisson pel primièr còp dempuèi la debuta de la guèrra. His brother, who has a plan conegut Jaurés, asked his boss to intervene to ask Pèire luènh del front. But Maria, his wife, let him go and did not feel the need to ask him to renounce his love and the solidarity that he had established with his fellow workers.
Ferran Delèris (in French Ferdinand Deleris is a Roergàs writer of Occitan and French expression. He was born in Roergue into a family of border workers and fled to Spain during the German occupation. Arrested by Franco's authorities, he was released thanks to the false document marked on his false papers. He continued to flee to Morocco, where he joined the French forces and eventually became a parachutist. After the Indochina war (where he met his mother, who had two sons and a daughter), he entered the end of the French presence in Madagascar at the time of its independence (he was an advisor to the first president Tsiranana). He wrote his first novel in French, novels and books about Madagascar. His first novel in Occitan is L'Aucon (1992), followed by two others: Pèire e Maria (1996) and Los Crocants de Roergue (2000). L'Aucon deals with the Second World War in the Occitan context with a story about the mafia. Pèire e Maria is about the First World War. Los Crocants de Roergue tells the story of Joan Petit (who became famous in traditional song and also in the song of Los de Nadau: Auròst tà Jan Petit) and also the story of the crocants of 1643. He wrote an autobiography, Memòris, which describes his Occitan, military, Indochinese and Malagasy history. He died in 2009 and was buried in his home town of Vòrs, in Roergue.
