Welcome to the website of La Librairie Abelard a Montolieu, the village of books in the south of France.
It all started the day I saw that the bookstore was for rent in 2007, yes time flies. I didn't have a lot of stock at the time, but books were already being sold on the internet that I found in Montolieu and in the auction room.
Now everything has changed, the world has changed, and the internet is essential for us at the moment, that's why this new site. Of course, all our books are not (yet .....) online but we are moving forward, that's why I ask you not to hesitate to contact us by the little yellow balloon at the bottom (right) of the site, or call us to tell us about your research.
We are also a buyer, if you have old or modern books, manuscripts, photos, postcards or comics etc ... to sell us contact us for an appointment.
I hope to help you soon at the Abélard bookstore in Montolieu, with these two levels of books the first for old and modern French books and the second for books in English we also have a small corner of Spanish and German, Dutch and Russian.
